Where the Harrier does better
Fit & finish
Harrier: Mixed reviewsXUV 7XO: Strongly negative
Harrier: “Panel gaps on the dashboard are quite uneven -- on the right side the gap is big enough to actually put a finger in, while the left side looks perfectly fine. At this price point, fit and finish should be more consistent.”
XUV 7XO: “the issue with the bright upholstery especially in our conditions is that you have to put in extra effort to keep it clean and even then some of these cars get pretty shabby very very fast... a dark upholstery would be a better choice.”

XUV 7XO: Strongly positiveHarrier: Mixed reviews
XUV 7XO: “Overall the seat comfort is excellent. You have power adjust for both seats, the driver and the passenger. You get three memory functions for the driver as well and of course both these seats are ventilated too.”
Harrier: “Tata seats have always been very good historically, but on this, even though the support is nice, the squabs are a bit too short so under-thigh support is missing, at least for me. Even the cushioning is a bit firmer than the XUV's.”
Ride comfort
XUV 7XO: Strongly positiveHarrier: Generally positive
XUV 7XO: “Jab isko city mein drive kiya tha, jo bhi iska jo suspension aa raha hai wo bahut zyada premium, aapko khadde bilkul bhi mehsoos nahi hote. Agar aap drive kar rahe hain, city mein itni zyada comfortable ride hai.”

Highway mileage
XUV 7XO: Strongly positiveHarrier: Generally positive
XUV 7XO: “Agar main national highway pe chal raha hoon... 100 ke neeche hi chal raha hoon toh wahan par 20 ka bhi mileage aa jaata hai. Murthal gaya hoon, main 20 ka maine video banaya hua hai toh 20 ka mileage aaya hai.”
Harrier: “Tank-to-tank calculation: the highway mileage came out to 14.39 km/l, cruising at a max of 90-95 km/h with AC on and two people in the car.”
