Where the Nexon does better

Handling

Nexon: Generally positiveBrezza: Generally negative

Nexon: “the Nexon steering is sharper, its chassis feels tighter and this feels sportier to drive of the two cars... if you're driving on a winding section of road it is the Nexon that will plaster the wider smile on your face”

Brezza: “The steering, for instance, is pretty direct but it just doesn't feel crisp — the way it turns into corners it's quite planted, feels solid, but again it's not as quick and as sharp as you'd want it to be to really hit that sweet spot.”

Where the Brezza does better

Dashboard layout

Brezza: Strongly positiveNexon: Strongly negative

Brezza: “it doesn't take the tech route to really wow you. What it does is come across as a very user-friendly space. All the buttons, and there are a lot of buttons, are where you expect them to be. And generally it's a very fuss-free cabin.”

Nexon: “there are certain ergonomic issues such as the placement of the USBs which is inconvenient to access, the bottle holders in the door which is a bit angled and again not very convenient to use, you don't have cup holders in this car”

Rear seat space

Brezza: Strongly positiveNexon: Generally positive

Brezza: “Its backseat remains just as comfortable, and thanks to its boxy dimensions, space for this segment is among the best — this is one of the few compact SUVs that can accommodate three abreast comfortably.”

Nexon: “Even this is a pretty squarish, pretty spacious cabin... in terms of just outright space it's not too bad, headroom not an issue for me, knee room is quite decent as well, there's a good amount of room under the front seats for your feet.”
