Where the Sierra does better

Seat comfort

Sierra: Strongly positiveCreta: Generally negative

Sierra: “The seats themselves very very comfy. We've spent well the good part of the day really driving around and it feels nice and comfy. They're a little broad for my frame... but anyone broader will fit nice and snug.”

Creta: “Driver's seat is 8-way electrically adjustable but you still don't get lumbar adjustment.”

Rear seat space

Sierra: Strongly positiveCreta: Mixed reviews

Sierra: “The Sierra also has an advantage thanks to the segment-best wheelbase. You have plenty of knee room. Leg room is not an issue at all. But of course, if you want to stretch a bit more, you have the boss mode manual adjust.”

Creta: “Vid6639 (6'1") had just about enough room behind his driving position ... Legroom for Vid6639 (6'1") with the front seat adjusted to his driving position was tight.”

Handling

Sierra: Generally positiveCreta: Mixed reviews

Sierra: “The bigger 19-in wheels are very good in terms of contact patch. You have a good amount of grip as well. And even though they are bigger in size, which makes the Sierra slightly taller, there's not much in terms of body roll.”

Creta: “there is a bit of extra play in the centre at speed and then you suddenly feel the weight when you start turning. We'd have liked a bit more consistent feedback as it provides that additional confidence while entering into a corner.”

Connected car features

Sierra: Generally negativeCreta: Strongly negative

Sierra: “That third passenger screen... it just has no use, and that money could have been better spent somewhere else... it's a cool screen, don't get me wrong. It's very high resolution... that just feels unnecessary.”

Creta: “it doesn't support wireless functionality for Android auto and apple carplay which is a frustrating Miss lower trims of the creter with the smaller 8in touchcreen ironically get wireless functionality”

Where the Creta does better

Dashboard layout

Creta: Generally positiveSierra: Generally negative

Creta: “Instrument cluster is high-definition, a lot of data that is very well put, and you don't really struggle to find out where is what. Same goes with the touchscreen. The UX/UI is extremely user-friendly.”

Sierra: “The 10.25 in digital dials are nicely done. They're crisp in their readout, but I would have liked the fonts to be slightly larger and more customization. I feel Tata has sort of held back with what they could have done with this screen.”

Fit & finish

Creta: Generally negativeSierra: Strongly negative

Creta: “this is not the highest grade of quality that we've seen from Hyundai... while this surface looks like it's leather it is very clearly plastic and Plastics lower down are also quite scratchy”

Sierra: “This version doesn't get the wireless charging pad, but like the version with the wireless charging pad, the base of this area is hard and smooth plastic, and as a result, your phone will be moving around when you are on the move.”
